Theodor Geisel
Theodor Seuss Geisel was born in Springfield, Massachusettes on March 2, 1904. During his career he wrote more than 40 children's books. He went by several pseudonyms, including Dr. Seuss, Theo LeSieg (Geisel spelled backwards), and Rosetta Stone.Theodor Geisel died in September of 1991.

My brother shares Dr. Seuss's birthday thus, I especially enjoy celebrating this day with our students. (Happy Birthday Bro!)
