Last year I began teaching computer workshops to fellow teachers in my school district. What I heard time and time again was that the learners "were not going to remember" what I was teaching them when they got home or tried to it again "sometime" in the future on their own. They kept saying, "two hours is not enough time to learn, retain, and later be able to implement these new skills on their own".

I decided to develop a PowerPoint presentation that will aid my fellow teachers after participating in one of my two-hour workshop. The presentation will give a detailed, beginner level explanation of how to use Microsoft Excel to make charts. In addition to being posted on the web it will also be available on CD.
